School Shootings
The Shellow Group has represented a number of students from around the country who have been charged in threats and school shootings. The Shellow Group works closely with Dr. Dewey Cornell and Dr. James Garbarino who are the two leading experts who The Shellow Group has used when explaining to juries and judges why a particular child was uniquely vulnerable to pressures and other psychological conditions which went previously unnoticed or unheeded.
School Shootings are uniquely unsettling to the communities in which they occur and it is important that the community's concerns are heard and publicly addressed by the legal team representing the school shooter so that judges and juries are politically ready to consider the special circumstances that will help lead to a favorable outcome for the school shooter.
These cases are enormously time consuming. Due to the Shellow Groups purposely small case load, The Shellow Group immediately mobilizes its outside and inside resources and will be on site to control the flow of unfavorable information to the press and the authorities.
