The defense of prosecutions for white-collar crime usually requires that the defense lawyer, at least at the outset, accept the accuracy and admissibility of the prosecution's documents and develop an alternative and non-criminal theory of their significance. While it is not uncommon for the Milwaukee criminal defense lawyer to consult with a forensic accountant in the exploration of such alternative theories, such accountants frequently have only limited experience with criminal prosecutions.
